[edit] Campaign Field Guide
OffTheBus, a new media collaboration between the Huffington Post and NewAssignment.Net, hosts a field guide to the presidential campaign staffers. We hope that, as these pages accumulate information posted by observers, volunteers and staff, these pages will help create greater transparency into the way these massive modern campaigns operate. Or, in other words, a guide to "who's who" in politics.
They say that history is written only by winners. But in politics, history is frequently only written by campaign managers, pundits, and elite consultants -- whether winners or losers. To capture what's 'really' going on inside these important organizations, we need a way for staff and volunteers to write their own stories.
The first step towards a more accurate picture of the successes and failures of campaigns is identifying who's out there doing the work. Help us do that by sending us information that's missing from our campaign wiki pages.
