Born in the African Nation of Liberia, Ms. Kennedy-Washington has had the honor and privilege of living in Africa, Europe and North America as the child of His Excellency Robert H. Quellie- Kennedy, Sr. His Excellency served in the Diplomatic Corps as well as in various levels of Government for the West African Nation (until his passing in October 2006). As a Registered Nurse, her mother, Gertrude H. Quellie-Kennedy rose to the ranks of Director of Nurses of Liberia’s largest medical facility, John F. Kennedy Hospital. These early experiences, have framed her outlook on life and looks at politics from a global perspective.

Ms. Kennedy-Washington moved to the United States after the Coup in Liberia led to political asylum for her family. She is currently married and with two children (a 7 year old boy and a 12 year old girl) Professionally, she has had an outstanding performance in Marketing & Promotions with proven ability to think strategically, plan, direct, and execute all promotional activity and marketing communications. She is for exceptional leadership in both creative and business aspects of Marketing & Promotions. Skilled at managing integrated marketing campaigns including grassroots events, event sponsorship, online and direct mail marketing efforts, trade shows, public relations, and promotional agency and partner management. She holds a BA in Communications & Media Arts from Queens College (CUNY).

After a number of personal and professional transitions, she currently works as an “Entrepreneurial Parent” navigating the challenges of parenthood and professional life. As a free-lancer she is an independent promotional/marketing consultant, Writer (Saba,Ink) and event support personnel.
